I've never really blogged before so anyone who does attempt to follow this, please bear with me. As the title implies this blog is just about us: myself, Patrick(my wonderful husband) and Taryn(our adorable one year old). Oh and maybe the occasional cat(my babies:Aquinnah, Alecks and Tangles) and our newly aquired hamster, Nibbles. Soon this blog will be more than just about the three of us(plus the furry friends).... as we are expecting baby number 2 in May 2009!!!
For just a little background since it seems as if everything has changed in the past few months... In July we sold our house(in 9 days!!!) and I finished with my portrait studio and made the move to Sioux City where Patrick is finishing his biology degree at Morningside College. He will be an official biologist come May 31, 2009(provided he passes his five remaining classes=) I am currently enjoying spending my time raising our daughter Taryn Alyssa who will be 14 months this week. She is very active, and keeps me busy. This past month she learned to walk. I don't know how but it seemed to make her arms twice as long and desire to have what she can't even greater. In other words, I can't turn my back for a second. Though VERY ornery already, Taryn is the sunshine in our lives. Her giggles and cheesy grins melt our hearts.
