Gobble gobble!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day. We had a great time at my parents this past almost week. Still in the stone ages, I was deprived of internet connection. Hence, no blogs. Time went so fast as we had a blast, but now it's good to be home. The whole trip was quite eventful. Last Saturday I dropped Taryn off with ol' gramps and worked on all the business filing I've been putting off. Now I'm actually almost done for the year! yeah! Sunday I actually got time to scrapbook again! How I miss doing that! I am only through Taryn's 9th month, although I have filled nearly three large 100 page scrapbooks(yes I am nuts!) I don't know how I'll ever be able to match that with this next one! Then Monday morning brite and early I headed back to my parents. Oh how I missed my little girl after a day and a half! I did need the break to get caught up though and my parents are always thrilled for a babysitting oportunity. So I'd thought I'd save a little gas and just stay at their place through Thanksgiving. Patrick joined us Tuesday nite, quite a full house with my parents, our family of three, and my brother and his girlfriend. Which always leads to drama. Lets just say my brother and I have never quite seen eye to eye and it's best that we don't spend much time together. Everything that happened is blurring together, but the highlights/lowlights were:
-coming face to face with an opossum(yes I screamed, slammed the door and hyperventilated)
-getting my toes smashed
-setting up the christmas tree
-family Christmas pictures
-Thanksgiving with both families
-watching Taryn baby run after the kitties
-Listening to Taryn's increasing vocabulary(dog dog is the newest)
-Making it thru two of nights without Taryn getting up
-baking
-a little bit of shopping

That's all I can come up with in my current sleepy state. I'll post again when I'm rested and can think again!

As it was just Thanksgiving Day I want to note that I'm grateful to all my family and friends(especially anyone who took the time to read this) =)
