spin art

Today we tried our hands at spin art. Morningside offers fun events to start each semester and today we decorated frisbees using spin art. Taryn had fun watching Patrick and I make ours, but then decided she needed to make her own as well. She's also learning some independence. She insisted on walking all the way up to Yockey center(2 blocks). Generally she begs to be carried, especially when it's cold out. I think she's growing up....still. Taryn is definately learning to use communication to get what she wants. Everyday I say "she's so smart! I didn't think they were suppose to know this much already." I swear she understands most everything we say! I can ask a huge variety of questions and she answers by shaking her head or using signs, if she doesn't know she puts up her hands and shrugs. It's really quite amazing how she's able to process that much. I'm in awe... and love....she's soooooooooooooooo darn cute! Well I should get a few things done while the cutie is napping but I'm going to try to post a few pix since I've been neglecting to do so........
