busy busy

I haven't posted as much as would like to lately, it just seems life got really busy. Patrick switched jobs a month ago and now he switched schedules. He works in the mornings monday and wednesday at fareway then work study tuesday, wednesday and friday afternoon/evening. It makes for a hectic week, but will definately be awesome with every weekend off! Time to recover from the week. And study ofcourse. I enjoyed Sunday when I got to go with him to shoot his photography assignment, roused all those awesome Hawkeye memories! He developed his film today and I must say I am very impressed. Must have had an awesome teacher!!! So ofcourse this is my fav of his classes, he better get an A! I'm excited to go into the darkroom sometime too. I think I even have a few rolls of black and white i never developed.... yeah I miss my Hawkeye days, and friends.... it seems like so long ago. Ah...well... I have a lot of things now I didn't then like my precious sleeping baby girl. She has really gotten sweet. She's so thoughtful, caring and even helpful! She's now a joy to spend time with and not a chore to take care of(I've always enjoyed being with her, but now it's so much more fun and not so stressful) I do hope this next one is just a little more laid back. We love Taryn's "spirit" but she does lack any patience. she has always kept me busy.

So an update on #2... I had an appointment on Friday along with yet another ultrasound. The calcified whatever in the stomach appears to be fading, and it is not a bowel obstruction=) We're keeping our fingers crossed still, but it was a very good report. Baby is still a girl! And over a pound! yippee!!! The only concern was the position of one foot so I get an ultrasound in 3 weeks at my next appointment too. I'm not worried, as it appeared normal last time... and if there is an abnormality there's nothing to be done now anyway. I'm just excited to have made it 23 weeks smoothly! Another 4 smooth weeks and I'll really celebrate. I've also gained a little=) Only about 4 pounds total, which puts me almost at the same weight i was with taryn at 5 months. Crazy how things work out!

I can't really think of too much else, except how quiet the house is when I'm the only one awake...so peaceful...and boring...lol Guess i'll just turn in early....
