A nice day!

Today was a great break in routine. Patrick got to take Taryn and Tayli to their last swimming lessons to see how far they have come. Meanwhile Mom came over to help watch Emyree while I worked on editing some more pix... then we headed to Omaha... with NO kids! I love shopping, even with kids, BUT shopping without is the icing on the cake! So glad we chose to move closer=) I'll reitterate how great it is to have family close. Like yesterday when we met up with Patrick's family(both sets of grandparents + cousins...even the ones from Scotland!) and my aunt also came across the street to say hello. I love small town Iowa where Patrick's grandparents are my aunt's neighbor, yes they really live right across the street. And today my grandma stopped in just to say hello as well.... and the girls also got to see their other "grandma" and their cat Nahla. To continue the theme Taryn gets to be taken to her makeup swim lesson tomorrow by her grandpa Terry. They got to go with someone different to ever lesson: nana, mommy, gramps, daddy and grandpa terry. Lucky little kids! I know how special it is that they have all their grandparents and 5 great grandparents as my last grandpa died when I was 1. I have never know what it is like to have them at all and mine are so close to their gramps =) Watched gymnastics now time for bed.
