almost turkey time!

Okay last time I posted about Halloween and this time I'm almost ready to post about Thanksgiving,,,, really not very good at keeping up on this. I tell you what though... two kids are WORK! If someone begs to differ they don't have kids like mine! I'm just praying for the day when I can sleep through the nite. Two nights ago I was puking and last night was Taryn's turn. Stomach flu=( The plus side is it's VERY short lived. 6 hours later almost back to normal. Hopefully Tayli and Patrick avoid it. Or maybe Tayli had it first seeing as she had 4 blowout diapers (and 3+ others)in the last 2 days YUCK! Not good for an already queasy stomach. Luckily this is Patrick's 5 day weekend. Should have known it's impossible to have a nice relaxing weekend with the family. Never relaxing, but almost always nice. I love my babes but they do test me to the limit, especially with the sleeping thing. I believe I haven't slept through the night more than a dozen times in over two years! Hoping to change that when Tayli switches to Similac advance next month. Alimentum does NOT keep her full. We've been supplementing Enfamil Restful at night so now she's only up 1-2 times not 4+. When I'm old and looking back I may miss this time, and want it back... for 10 minutes or so. LOL! That's what an older lady from MOPS said. I can't remember if I mentioned it but MOPS is Mothers Of Preschoolers. We meet as a group of maybe 40 moms twice a month, and my favorite part is the free day care for 2 1/2 hours! It's my only real chance to talk exclusively to people over the age of 2, and it's AWESOME! The bonus is Taryn loves being a moppet because it's her only guaranteed chance to play with other kids her age, and there is a LOT of them(maybe 20?) Tayli does very well in the nursery too. I really wish I could find a part time job(once or twice a week) so I could have some space and they could learn more social skills. I think it'd be a win-win situation, but Rock Rapids doesn't have a whole lot of opportunities. I did shoot a family session yesterday at my cousins studio, but I don't get to do that very often. We're still deciding on permanency.... ?????????????????? I believe I've taken more than a five minutes break, time to get back to mommy.
